Office of Justice Programs Searching for Volunteer Reviewers

The Office of Justice Programs is searching for volunteer reviewers to take part in the grant proposal review process for the 2019 Byrne Justice Assistance grants.

Volunteers typically find this to be a valuable and interesting exercise as well as a tool to strengthen their own grant writing.

Reviewers will receive the review packet of 8-10 proposals approximately the week of July 30 and will have two weeks to review the proposals. Reviewers will then meet for a three hour review meeting tentatively scheduled during the week of August 13, 2018. Exact dates, times and locations will be determined after the RFP has closed.

If you are interested and available to be a proposal reviewer, please complete the Reviewer Survey.

Please contact Claire Cambridge [email protected] or 651-201-7307 with any questions.

I previously was exposed to the work of YIPA when I was living in Minnesota and working on behalf of a non-profit organization focused on youth homelessness. I am writing to inquire if there might be an equivalent to YIPA here in the state of Washington where I now live. I am making my inquiry for professional networking purposes.
