DOE. Part-time non-exempt without benefits. Every other weekend (Saturday &
Sunday); 3:00pm—11:00pm. Additional hours often available. Flexibility is required.
Primary responsibilities include assisting with Shelter weekend activities for
residents. This includes meal preparation, kitchen clean up and maintenance. Medication
administration when required. Assistance with the planning and facilitation of activities for the
youth. Facilitate house meetings, talking circles and table time. Provide direct care, behavior
management, and supervision to shelter residents. This position will also assist with screening
referrals, conducting intakes and discharges and provide transportation and accompany residents to appointments.
AA degree in human services, child development, elementary/secondary education or related field preferred.
Experience working with youth who exhibit varying degrees of difficult behavior in a residential, therapeutic, group or classroom setting. Knowledge of the Native American culture, values, and family systems preferred.
- Applicants required to be 21 years of age per DHS Licensure.
- Must have valid Driver’s License and pass DHS Background Check.
