Beverley A. Benjamin Youth Lodge Coordinator
DOQ Full-time exempt position with excellent benefits. Predominately Monday— Friday, 9 am—5 pm however occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. Flexibility necessary.
The Youth Lodge (YL) Coordinator reports to the Residential Director and oversees general operations of the Beverley A. Benjamin Youth Lodge. Primary responsibilities include; administrative duties, assisting the case manager in providing services to the YL residents, providing general over-sight and management, scheduling of staff and ensure YL coverage, supervision of all YL overnight/weekend and Street Outreach staff. YL Coordinator is responsible for participation in Coordinated Entry systems and all HMIS data entry and funding reporting needs. Youth Lodge Coordinator also needs strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Child Psychology or related field preferred.
Must have at least 4 years of experience working within the field of Human Services and at least two years of case management experience or Street Outreach experience in a community service agency is preferred. Candidates must be knowledgeable of the Native American Indian culture, values, and family systems.
Must have valid MN Driver’s License and pass DHS Background Check.
