|Position Summary||The Executive Director serves a pivotal role in the advancement of the mission and vision of Itasca Youth for Christ. This position requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, and working in direct ministry to high school students.
The Executive Director is responsible to recruit, select and train staff and volunteers. This position requires overseeing the day to day operation of the administrative work, the three YFC programs (Campus Life, JJM & Ground Floor Youth Center), staff, volunteer staff and the local board of directors.
The Executive Director must have a passion for teens and a willingness to enter their world. Also needed is a person who is non-judgmental, inclusive, a good listener, self-motivated, leads by example, honest, transparent, a good communicator, social savvy, have emotional intelligence and control, & integrity in one’s personal and professional life.
As an employee of Itasca YFC, we expect all employees to model empathy, humility and care for all people. This includes promoting equity and inclusion in word and in the practice of faith expression.
As the leader of Itasca Youth for Christ, you are responsible to participate in fundraising to meet goals and maintain a predetermined account balance for your chapter. It is important to maintain intentional contact with the YFC donor base.
|· Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
· Minimum of five years related experience required.
· $50,000 – $80,000 (depending on education & experience)
