Voyageur Outward Bound School is a charter of Outward Bound USA, the leading provider of experiential education for youth and adults. We design and deliver intensive single-day and extended wilderness expedition experiences that build and develop character, leadership and service through shared experience.
VOBS delivers high impact programs across three sites: Twin Cities Center in St Paul, MN, Homeplace Wilderness Basecamp in Ely, MN and Big Bend Basecamp in Redford, TX.

The Voyageur Outward Bound School (VOBS) is a non-profit, adventure-based, education organization that emphasizes personal growth through challenge and discovery. For over 50 years, VOBS courses have focused on inspiring self-reliance, confidence, teamwork, and compassion.
The Course Advisor provides an essential role within the Student Services Department to assist customers with course selection, convert inquiries to enrollments, and prepare all incoming students for their Outward Bound experience. This person also provides information to Course Directors for students arriving on upcoming courses. This position is responsible for tracking enrolled students, managing receipt of their application materials, and reviewing medical forms and questionnaires submitted by the applicant to assess medical, psychological, behavioral, and motivational appropriateness for courses located in Minnesota and Texas.
