Lakes Center for Youth & Families provides community-based therapy services to individuals and
families.

SALARY:

DOE. Competitive salary and benefits package. Full-time position.

SUMMARY:

Under the clinical supervision of an LMFT, direct supervision by the Lead Youth & Family Therapist, and using a team approach, the Youth & Family Therapist provides individual, family and group counseling to adolescents, adults and their families in order to solve immediate problems, stabilize family/individual crises, strengthen skill development and assist in building healthy relationships. The team approach includes resourcing supervisor, school, county, agency staff, and others. This position is 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. This position will also provide services to in-clinic clients a minimum of two evenings per week.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold MA or MS in Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family, Social work, Psychology or other related mental health field and be pursuing licensure in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW).

EXPERIENCE:

Child/adolescent experience.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of development, attachment, systems, and trauma-informed
theories.
Ability to facilitate psychoeducational, therapy, and skills-based groups.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently; attention to detail; organization and time management skills
Knowledge of EHR preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be available for a minimum of two evenings per week.
Transportation.
