Northwest Private Industry Council

The Northwest Private Industry Council provides administration, oversight, and strategic direction of workforce development programs in Northwest Minnesota. By coordinating robust services, we help connect jobseekers, students and young adults to employers and businesses in the area. Northwest Private Industry Council The Northwest Private Industry Council is one of Minnesota’s 16 local workforce boards, designated under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014. The Board is comprised of a majority business representatives, as well as workforce, education and training, government, economic, and community stakeholders. We are dedicated to quality workforce development endeavors throughout Northwestern Minnesota. The Board guides the design of local workforce development throughout the counties of Polk, Pennington, Marshall, Norman, Roseau, Red Lake, and Kittson, including oversight of the operation of CareerForce locations. We connect job seekers, education, and businesses.
