Youth First is the only FREE neighborhood based after school program in our community. Our youth are eager for a place they can go when school is not in session and our parents rely on the safe and structured programming their youth are involved in during our program. By creating neighborhood centers that are safe for youth ages 11-18 to go to after school and during school release days, Youth First has actively embraced the pledge to deliver 5 specific promises to all youth in the community. By ensuring that youth are given the opportunity to consistently experience these promises Youth First and its supporting members are building a future where youth are more likely to succeed academically, socially, and civically, regardless of ethnic or economic boundaries.
