Young people and youth workers alike are invited to submit an original graphic design inspired by the theme:

Celebrate Young People and What Matters to Them

Your design should reflect the hopes, passions, identities, relationships, interests, or experiences that are meaningful to young people. We encourage creativity and authentic expression. Work on your own design solo, or collaborate with others.

Winning designs will become part of YIPA’s Youth Worker Collection and may be printed on t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, and other merchandise.

Winners Receive: 

  • 1st Place: $250 prize
  • 2nd Place: $150 prize
  • 3rd Place: $100 prize

Contest deadline: Submission closes Friday, February 12, 2027, at 11:59 pm Central Time

Public voting: All eligible submissions will be featured in a two-week public voting period immediately following the submission deadline.

Submission process: Follow the submission button to email your design. Send your full name, birthdate and optionally a couple sentences about your design.

Youth submission: If you’re under 18, please fill out the parent/guardian form and include it in your submission.

Design requirements:

  • Accepted file formats: JPG, PNG and SVG
  • Max file size -
    • 10 MB (JPG or PNG) or
    • 20 MB (SVG)
  • Max Print area: 3692 x 4800 px (300 DPI)
  • Max resolution: 30,000 x 30,000 px
  • Designs must be original and may not contain AI-generated artwork
  • Designs may not include profanity, hate speech, or offensive content
