Braidz N' Thangz

Braidz N' Thangz: Promoting Power, Purpose, and Poise! Braidz N' Thangz (BNT) Young Adult Internship Program provides at-risk Black/African American women ages 16-24 with hands-on training, natural braiding experience, textured hair care, and cosmetology. The BNT training program, founded by Ms. June Etta Armstead (http://www.juneettaarmstead.com/), provides its participants an opportunity to obtain professional certificates and California State licenses to work in a professional salon environment or open a salon of their own. The BNT program is entirely free of charge for participants.
