Advocates for Family Peace

Advocates for Family Peace creates awareness in our community by promoting safety, equality, and responsibility in intimate and family relationships. Advocates for Family Peace (AFFP) was incorporated in 1978 as the Adult Protection Council and became Advocates Against Domestic Abuse. The current name of the agency became official in 1998. -Transitional housing service -Advocacy for abused children -Intervention Program for Men -Intervention Program for Women -the Wellstone Family Safety Program (WFSP) supervised visitation and exchanges for families where there has been domestic violence and/or child abuse -Parents Forever education program for parents and children experiencing divorce or separation -Intervention Program for Men In 2012, a satellite office in Hibbing, MN to provide services to people living in northeastern St. Louis County opened.
